So according Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the rear iPhone 14 camera lens is suffering quality control concerns that are causing some lenses to crack as a consequence of a coating. Apple opted to relocate the 14 camera orders to a new supplier as a consequence of the issue, which will significantly lessen the impact on device shipments later this year.

Due to the entry of a new supplier, who would presumably fix the problem, Kuo predicted that the impact on the shipment of the iPhone 14 will be limited. According to reports, Samsung is getting ready to supply 80 million iPhone 14 displays in the third quarter of this year, which will result in better iPhone 14 shipping numbers than the iPhone 13 did.
